Vacation 2008 |
2008 - I finally made it to Mexico. I visited Zinapécuaro de Figueroa de Michoacán. You normally don't use the full name but to look up Zinapécuaro on a map or Google Earth, you need the full name.
2005 - I started out early this year and spent 5 days in Kelowna, BC. It had 2 purposes. First and most important was to see if I had circulation problems hiking around. My left leg has been bothering me and Kelowna would define my limits. The good news was that I could hike up and down hills without any problem. I have been maintaining that it felt like I was putting too much pressure on my left leg when I sit at the computer. This is similar to guys that have to move their wallet from the back pocket. The 2nd purpose was to spend time learning about fly fishing. 2004 - If I thought the weather was bad in 2003, you should have seen 2004. The ranger at Madison Junction claimed that the photo opportunities at the Grandcanyon of the Yellowstone would be worth $1M. That may be a bit excessive; however, the view was beyond awesome. 2003 - This was a Yellowstone vacation that was both longer and the weather was much worse. 2002 - Was noted for taking 2 major vacations and neither was typical. 2001 - Was the vacation to Yellowstone where what I forgot was almost as notable as what I saw. 2000 - It was so smoky that all I did was take a couple of short drives. 1999 - I finally got to see Mamouth Mountain, Joe's Place, and other places that I had been following on the NSGS sites. Mamouth Mountain was almost expected to erupt in 1980 about the same time as Mt. St. Helens did. |
